Ms. Singleton currently serves as our Chairman, a position she has held since July 21, 2005. She co-founded Edgewater Technology (Delaware), Inc. ("Edgewater Delaware") in 1992 and has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of our company since January 2002. Edgewater Delaware is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of our company. Prior to co-founding Edgewater Delaware, Ms. Singleton held various management positions from 1982 to 1992 at Logica North America and attained the position of Vice President and General Manager of the Northeast region. Prior to working at Logica, Ms. Singleton was a high school teacher and coach at a large Massachusetts high school. Ms. Singleton serves on the Board of Trustees for the Mass Software Council, Massachusetts Taxpayer Foundation and Bunker Hill Community College and serves as a Board member for The Boston Club. Ms. Singleton has served as a director of our company since June 2001.
David Clancey
Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Technology Officer
David Clancey co-founded Edgewater Technology Inc. along with his partner, Shirley Singleton. As Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Dave has been instrumental in the phenomenal success of the organization by focusing on the early identification and investment in emerging technologies to solve complex business problems in the most time-cost-and technologically efficient ways.
Early in his career, Dave spent several years within various data processing career positions for such organizations as Wang Labs, Bachman Information Systems and AVCO Computer Services. Prior to co-founding Edgewater, he became a systems architect and then Chief Technology Officer at Logica Data Architects in Waltham, MA.
John Flavin
Senior Vice President of Strategic Services and Accounts
As Edgewater's Senior Vice President of Strategic Services and Accounts, John Flavin's proven leadership and client relationship capabilities is contributing to Edgewater 's national expansion and future growth plans. In addition, John will provide direct leadership of Edgewater's New York Metro region, select strategic accounts, and vertical industry practices including the Company's growing Web Analytics practice.
Prior to joining Edgewater, Mr. Flavin was a Vice President of Outsourcing Services at Capgemini focused within the Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Distribution and Life Sciences Industries. Within this role, he provided leadership to the North American sales team.
Mr. Flavin has also held other executive level roles such as Group Vice President for Business Development and Client Management at Keane. While there, he played an integral part within the organization by managing the company's sales and delivery of application software and consulting services. He was also a key contributor at Keane during that organization's growth from $60m to $250m. John also has extensive experience with the selection and integration of strategic acquisitions. His prior experience also includes Chief Operating Officer at Waltham, MA-based LavaStorm, a niche software engineering firm for highly complex and data intensive Internet-based applications and President and CEO of Brainstorm.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany and an MBA in Management & Industrial Relations from the University of Bridgeport.
As the Company's Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer, Tim Oakes is responsible for the overall financial operations and controls of the Company, while directing the overall accounting, audit, tax functions and associated practices within the Company. Tim joined Edgewater in 2004 as a Director of Finance. He was promoted to Vice President of Finance in 2007 and Chief Accounting Officer in 2008.
Prior to joining Edgewater, Tim was a Senior Director of Finance within Symmetricom, Inc., a publicly traded manufacturer of equipment dedicated to the generation, synchronization and distribution of precise time and frequency signals. He has nearly 20 years of financial and operational management experience gained through time working for various companies in the biotechnology, manufacturing and consulting services industries.
Tim is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Stonehill College. He began his career in accountancy working in the Boston office of KPMG, LLP.
Robin Ranzal
President - Ranzal & Associates, An Edgewater Company
Since founding Ranzal & Associates in 1996, Robin Ranzal Knowles has grown the organization into a premier Business Performance Management consulting firm. In October 2004, Ranzal became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Edgewater Technology, Inc., an innovative technology management consulting firm. As President of Ranzal, Robin is primarily responsible for managing and is actively involved in client engagements throughout the country.
Prior to starting Ranzal, she held several technical and management positions including Director of Consulting Services for Dimension Data Systems, analyst positions at Business Express Airlines and MCI. Robin is recognized nationally as an authority on Hyperion's Essbase (OLAP) technology. She is a frequent speaker at various Hyperion events including Hyperion's User Conferences and has served as a panel expert for Business Performance Management Magazine. Robin has also played crucial roles in Ranzal's Hyperion client implementations in the Healthcare, Consumer Packaged Goods, Finance, Insurance and Retail industries.
She is a Hyperion Certified Consultant and Instructor and holds a BS degree from SUNY Plattsburgh.
Kristin Zaepfel
Vice President of Human Resources
As Vice President of Human Resources, Kristin Zaepfel is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Edgewater's Human Resources Department while participating in making strategic HR decisions as a member of the Senior Management Team. Ms. Zaepfel was named an executive officer of the Company in June of 2004.
Prior to joining Edgewater in September of 2003, Kristin was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Xchange, Inc., an international, high-growth, customer relationship management software and services company in Boston. With approximately 20 years of Human Resources experience, she has also held various Human Resources positions at such organizations as HPR, Inc., Mellon Bank Corporation and The Boston Company.
Kristin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Allegheny College and also has a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Bentley College.
Barbara Warren-Sica
Investor Relations
As Vice President of Edgewater's Corporate Communications, Barbara Warren-Sica is responsible for overseeing the company's strategic communications platform, including internal and external communications, marketing, public relations, brand management, and Edgewater's philanthropy efforts.
Since joining the organization in 1998, she has worked closely with the Company's executive management and sales organization to implement and build Edgewater's marketing engine. Most recently, she managed the implementation of the new corporate website and played a key role in developing the Company's market positioning in the premium IT services space.
Prior to joining Edgewater Technology, Barbara was responsible for the marketing activities for an internationally recognized, multi-million dollar provider of software, consulting services and custom programming for the healthcare industry. She also spent a significant amount of time in the publishing industry where she was responsible for the marketing of Computer Science and Engineering publications.
Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Salem State College with a minor in Public Relations.
